I am very grateful to have some of the most respected individuals from our sport backing my campaign.

I pushed hard at both the 2021 and 2022 AGM's for an

additional Table Tennis Elected Director on the Board of TTE. My  motivation was to give the playing membership of this country a bigger voice in the running of their sport; a third of the twelve strong Board rather a quarter as it is now. Also,  where appropriate, to support the Board's Talent & Performance Sub-Committee.

Jos has shown all the qualities that I envisaged as a sport specific member of the Board. Whilst he is more than capable of contributing to the  functionality and business side of the Boards activity, I am confident that he would be a strong advocate for our sport in England.

I am really pleased that Jos Kelly is standing for the fourth elected director position on the TTE Board.   Jos is very dedicated to and passionate about table tennis.  He has a huge amount of knowledge and experience of the game, both as a player and in fulfilling a number of key roles within the sport.  I have been very fortunate to work with Jos over a number of years in his capacity as Chair of the TTE South West Region and have always found him to be very supportive, hardworking and interested in new concepts and ideas to improve and promote table tennis within the South West Region. Jos clearly has the interests of members at the heart of everything he does to improve our sport going forward and would be a valuable addition to the TTE Board.  I fully endorse his application to become the new fourth Elected Director of the TTE Board.

Head Coach and Committee Member -  Joola Plymouth Table Tennis Club

Life Member of the Plymouth & District Table Tennis League

TTE Tournament Referee and County Umpire

I fully support Jos who I have worked closely with over the last couple of years. He has a clear understanding of our sport and how it needs to be changed to meet the requirements of today's players and those in the future.

We need young and fresh blood on the TTE Board working closely with the other elected members and other Board member.

Previous Chair of the ETTA,

and on two local leagues and my County Committee.

I was delighted when I heard that Jos Kelly was standing for the position of fourth Table Tennis England (TTE) Member Elected Board Member. Having worked with Jos on the TTE Select Committee for Governance, where he showed a sound understanding of the challenges facing TTE with a positive and constructive approach for addressing areas of concern, I would fully endorse and support his application.

Jos’s table tennis knowledge along with his business skills, good judgement and aim of putting members’ views at the forefront would make him an ideal candidate to represent members whilst working within the structure that is required to be a Board Member of TTE.
